I had a bilateral mastectomy in August 2022, followed by 3 weeks of radiation. I declined chemo but am doing well. I retired in May 2023 and am enjoying life.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. In 2023, I had breast surgery, then did radiation treatment. Today I did my last radiation treatment. I’m now cancer free, got my certificate, and rang the bell. Hooray.
September 9, 2022, was the day I was diagnosed with breast cancer Stage 4, HER2 positive. Since then I’ve gone through chemo, double mastectomy, removal of my ovaries and tubes, 3 rounds of radiation so far, and I’m not giving up. I’ve gotta fight because I have 2 little kids that still need to be raised by me, and I love them with all my heart. I have an amazing husband who’s been with me through all this, whom I love a lot! I’m never giving up, I’ll fight this!
I was diagnosed with Stage 2A breast cancer in March 2022 and I am currently in remission. Almost two years now!! I thank God for being here today. There are still many challenges in life, but I remain positive and hopeful.
I found the lump in June 2023. In July, I received the devastating news it was cancer: invasive ductal carcinoma, Stage 3A, triple negative, about the size of a ping pong ball with lymph node involvement. Since then, I’ve had 8 sessions of chemo, a lumpectomy and lymph node dissection, physical therapy, and just finished 33 sessions of radiation! In 2 weeks, I will be starting a chemo pill for 4 to 5+ months. Charging through to the end!
Diagnosed with DCIS in October 2014. Had a lumpectomy and 35 rounds of radiation. Now 9 years cancer free. Just had my mammogram and breast exam with my oncologist. My breasts are dense so I feel more comfortable going for my yearly checkups with her.
