When you join in supporting the mission of Helping Women Now, you provide more than just free mammograms and potentially life-saving breast health education. You also provide patients with intangible benefits like peace of mind, clarity and relief. We received this letter of thanks from Laura, a patient at Martin Memorial in Stuart, Florida, who received a free mammogram through our National Mammography Program. You make stories like this possible:
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help and support in my time of need. You see, I have lost my job and have no insurance at the present time. It is so important that I get my mammogram and breast ultrasound, because my doctor is following up on a density/abnormality in my breast. He is extra cautious because my mother died of breast cancer. Your funding and my doctor are a blessing in my life. What a wonderful organization you are; helping so many people in their time of need.
Diane [Imaging Floor Coordinator of Martin Memorial] never left my side and was encouraging all the way. She is dedicated to her patients and organizations that she represents.
Thank you for taking my worry away this year. I am always so worried about breast cancer since my mother died from it. She was an extremely strong woman. She served our country in the US Air Force in the Korean War. She could not beat breast cancer, though.
I am so glad that you are there to help people like me. Thank you NBCF from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for helping ease Laura’s worry by ensuring she and her doctor can continue to be proactive regarding her breast cancer risk. Thank you for all you do to join us in Helping Women Now!

Donations are always appreciated, but there are lots of great ways to get involved.
