Saint Luke’s Hospital Koontz Center for Advanced Breast Cancer has a singular goal: improving the outcomes and quality of life for women with advanced (metastatic) breast cancer. We believe in more than just treating cancer—our team is dedicated to caring for the whole woman. Our dual approach to care includes personalized treatments that uses advanced genomics and immunotherapy. The Koontz Center is the only program in the region to offer this type of comprehensive care to women with advanced breast cancer.
“We recognize each woman with metastatic breast cancer is in a very unique situation and needs a treatment plan designed exclusively for her. The Koontz Center brings together leading-edge genomics, medical treatments and clinical trials as well as the latest in integrative therapies and allows us to create an individualized, completely comprehensive plan for each woman.” — Timothy Pluard, M.D., Medical Director of the Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute and the Saint Luke’s Koontz Center for Advanced Breast Cancer
