The Bridge Breast Network (BBN) provides early detection and treatment services for breast cancer to low income, uninsured and underinsured individuals in North Texas. BBN has been a bridge of hope for many uninsured North Texans, and the premise that no woman (or man) should suffer in silence with breast cancer because they lack the financial resources still remains the foundation of our program. In our 29-year history, BBN has touched the lives of over 200,000 women in 28 counties with breast health education and/or breast health services. Our Bridging Healthcare Access and Patient Navigation program provides breast and health education to 2,500 individuals annually and access/navigation to breast health services to nearly 1,000 individuals.
“BBN strives to reduce barriers to healthcare access and the incidents of late-stage disease by collaborating with medical and community partners to increase awareness, access, and survival.”
Donations are always appreciated, but there are lots of great ways to get involved.
